Chumbawamba - Tubthumper

Making its long-awaited debut on double vinyl, Chumbawamba’s multi-million-selling ‘Tubthumper’ returns in a special expanded 2LP edition curated by the band themselves. Originally released in 1997, the album became a global success, selling more than 3.5 million copies worldwide and over 3 million copies in the United States alone, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and earning Platinum and Multi-Platinum certifications across numerous territories.

At the album’s heart is the era-defining anthem ‘Tubthumping’, one of the biggest singles of the 1990s, which reached No. 2 in the UK, No. 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 in multiple countries including Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy and New Zealand. The song has since become a fixture of popular culture through extensive use in films, television programmes, advertising campaigns, video games and sporting events around the world.

This newly expanded edition features the original album alongside a bonus fourth side personally curated by the band, including ‘Enough Is Enough (Kick It Over)’, ‘Farewell To The Crown’, ‘Top Of The World (Ole Ole Ole)’, ‘Bella Ciao’ and ‘Tony’. Also featuring the hit single ‘Amnesia’, which reached the UK Top 10 and became a staple of alternative radio, this definitive release is further enhanced with newly compiled credits, complete lyrics and exclusive song notes from the band, offering fresh insight into one of the most successful and enduring alternative albums of the 1990s.

Nearly three decades on, ‘Tubthumper’ remains a unique blend of infectious pop hooks, folk influences and sharp social commentary that continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.
