Controlling chaos by hand, Currents balance invention and innate intensity on their new EP "All That Follows". Especially strong, the quintet's closing track "Rise & Fall" revolves around propulsive drums, a riff call-and-response and a hook that holds onto the vestiges of a crumbling institution before asking a final query: How will this end?
