False Reality - Faded Intentions

Born from multiple facets of the storied London hardcore scene, False Reality are a living embodiment of the genre’s core values; connection, strength and cutting through the facetiousness. Coming together through various factions of the scene’s ecosystem, the fourpiece have cemented a reputation as one of the city’s most dominating live forces, bringing years of heavily honed stage presence to the fore.

Now, the band announce ‘Faded Intentions’; a debut album that is far from just a follow up to last year’s riotously received ‘Path of Self Destruct’ EP, but a huge sonic advancement that finds one of the capital’s most bruising hardcore units expanding their horizons and uncovering the multitudes of human existence in the process.

False Reality are a band that not only see the wood from the trees, but they tear it out from the roots themselves. Across ‘Faded Intentions’ 12 tracks, the band fuse UK beatdown violence with NYC hardcore, thrash, metal, grunge and shoegaze, inspired by seminal artists from their own musical timelines via the likes of Madball, Terror, Trapped Under Ice, Metallica, Deftones and Sepultura. The result is full-bodied contemporary hardcore that integrates thrash-imbued riffs, layered ambience, confrontational vocals and dynamic song structures.
